Evacuation drills will be held several times during the year.  Each teacher will review with you what to do if the alarm sounds while you are in that class.

    WHEN the ALARM SOUNDS:

    1. Put down all materials immediately.

    2. Please be silent to ensure you hear all directions.

    3. Line up in a single file line.

    4. The teacher will lead the class outside, where you will line up with your homeroom teacher in alphabetical order by last name.

    5. While outside stay in line and stay calm—you may talk quietly. Listen for all directions.

    6. If it is lunchtime, a transition time, or you’re not in the classroom when the alarm sounds, exit the building through the door nearest you.  After you are outside, report to and line up with your homeroom teacher and class.
